This weekend Lily cut her first two teeth, learned to say, “Oh boy!”, and learned how to stand without support. To celebrate all the milestones, I cooked the first meal that our whole family could eat together, chicken and brown rice and green beans. (Okay, I lied. Ian didn’t eat the green beans. He has a thing against vegetables. But he could have eaten them.) After dinner we headed to the beach for some sand for dessert and a quiet, ocean-side snooze.

[…] It's October already, it's crazy. Lily is just around the corner from her official one year birthday extravaganza and dad isn't quite ready for it.
